PDA Rescue Diver

The Rescue Diver course is considered one of the most exciting and educational steps in diving training. While beginner courses focus primarily on diving safely for yourself, the Rescue Diver course teaches you to recognize problems early on, assess them correctly, and respond appropriately in an emergency—both underwater and on the surface. You’ll not only learn how to extricate yourself from difficult situations, but also how to effectively assist other divers—from underwater rescues to initiating the rescue chain on land.

The PDA Rescue Diver course is exciting, challenging, and extremely valuable. It goes far beyond recreational diving and prepares you for real-life situations—whether minor incidents or genuine emergencies.

What you'll learn in the course:

Self-Rescue: How to Protect Yourself and Stay Capable of Acting in an Emergency
Rescuing Partners: Awareness, Assessment, and Proper Action Underwater
Diving Emergency Management: Organization, Procedure, and Use of Rescue Chains
Diver First Aid: Handling Emergency Equipment and Immediate Medical Measures

Why this course is worthwhile:

You’ll become a more confident diver and a reliable buddy
You’ll learn to take responsibility for yourself and others
You’ll be fully prepared for diving accidents and emergencies
